The truth about Paleo Eating: An everyday approach to the paleo diet for beginners by Thomas Green is an interesting and informative book about the benefits and drawbacks of one of the most controversial diets out there today. The book, while extolling the virtues of the paleo or cave - man diet, does not hesitate to confront the drawbacks of the lifestyle. It acknowledges "the dark side of paleo", and offers a balanced approach to try to mitigate the more problem areas. Green also emphasises the benefits of the diet, showcasing why many find it to be a very attractive way of eating. Some of these benefits are increased health and weight loss - and who doesn't want that.
The second part of the book is a variety of delicious sounding recipes featuring meat, potatoes and vegetables cooked in imaginative and healthy ways. Finally, Green includes a seven day paleo eating plan to help you get started and to help you imagine what it would be like to live on a paleo diet.

I usually search for diets in order to reduce extra weight. Most of the time, the search result will be Paleo diet. But when I go through this book, I came to know that Paleo is not only a diet but also a lifestyle. The book clears all my questions about Paleo. Unlike others does, it not only praise the advantages of Paleo, but it also cautions us about the dark side too. It describes in an understandable manner what Paleo does and what it does not. The fine thing about the book is it also provides us a variety of Paleo diet recipes that we can use in our day-to-day life. Personally I recommend this book.

Paleo diet is a strange name to most of us. I tried to understand what Paleo diet is all about. Luckily I got a chance to read this book. The book briefs us about the history of Paleo which is so impressive. It explains how our ancestors led life in most challenging circumstances. Paleo has its own positive and negative sides. The book leaves us to decide whether we need to use Paleo or not based on the pluses and minuses it gives us about Paleo. It also provides us a 7-day Paleo plan to get started. So if you don’t know how to start your Paleo life, this will help you. Kudos to the author!
