Affordable Hot Stuff

Before I read this book, I had a layman's understanding of cars. Back when they were simpler machines, I did my own oil changes and such. But I'm a newbie when it comes to performance cars. Bob Hall's book was a surprise. I really never considered that such a fine machine would be within reach financially. But he states very clearly that you can buy a used M5 and then he coaches you on not only how to get it renovated but also what you might want to do to take it to the next level. Particularly helpful for me was the glossary. Now I have a newer car with performance features -- I didn't go in for the renovation job -- but now I understand what the sports package is all about!

Mr. Robert P. Hall really lived the "Cool Lifestyle". This is a must read for future (and current) M5 owners.
