Great read about what arguably could be the most compelling 20 years in the history of the game....Tiger, advances in technology and course design, great players. Loved it....especially discovering the very interesting story behind how Golf Channel got started.

Long awaited book for golf enthusiasts

‘The Golf Book’ written by Chris Millard, an author known for his interest to the exciting game of golf, will be welcomed by golf enthusiasts – presenting an well-made overview of last twenty years of golf game, its players and events that changed the game forever.
The book is released to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Golf Channel's broadcasting, a TV station fully devoted to game of golf.
Within the covers author tried to present the most interesting golf-related facts and game legends which for last two decades made golf one of the most popular sports all around the world.
For some history events, Millard goes deep into the detail picturing both best and worst moments that marked the careers of famous players – won championships and remarkable shots, duels in which it was impossible for both players to win, even though that would be the fairest. For Golf Channel's fans, the book provides a not so known story how and why this popular sports channel was launched.
